One of the security features of BlackBerry OS is BlackBerry Assistant 10.3. As the name implies, this is a digital assistant for BlackBerry users.
Although already exhibited since some time ago through the BlackBerry's official blog, this feature has just been released. Coincided with the presence of 10.3 BlackBerry, BlackBerry OS innate Passport, which launched last night, Wednesday (25/09/2014).
BlackBerry presence Assistant is a Canadian company that answers on Cortana in the Windows Phone, Google Now in Android, iOS and Siri.
Its function is not much different than the competitors virtual assistant. BlackBerry Assistant can be used to send emails, search the web, put up reminders, as well as find scores sporting events.
What about performance? The Verge, Thursday (09/25/2014), said that the voice recognition function on the BlackBerry Assistant fairly decent, but overall the system is slower than its competitors.
BlackBerry also has the Assistant not predictive features like those of Google Now And Cortana. But as the first trial, Assistant relatively good performance of the BlackBerry.
